  In the field of carbon black, we all know that the conductive materials used in plastic systems are almost all conductive carbon black instead of graphite powder. This is mainly because the factors that play a conductive role in plastics are not only the conductivity of the added conductive powder itself, but also related to the distribution of conductive particles in the polymer. The same quality of carbon black and graphite, due to the relatively small specific gravity of carbon black, occupies a larger volume fraction in polymer compounds such as plastics, which is conducive to the formation of a conductive network and thus obtains a better conductive effect than graphite powder as a filler. . Therefore, in plastic applications, we often see conductive carbon black instead of graphite powder.

  Although in a sense the conductivity of graphite is better than that of carbon black, the application of graphite is not as much as that of conductive carbon black. It can be seen that the use of suitable products is more critical than the best.
