Performance requirements of tire components and application of carbon black varieties

  1. Car tire tread

  The tread should have high wet skid resistance and low rolling resistance, and should meet the dual requirements of safety and environmental protection, and have certain wear resistance. Carbon black generally uses N234, N220, N375, N121 and other varieties.

  2. Truck tire tread

  The tread must meet the requirements of high wear resistance, high strength, high elongation, high elasticity, and low heat generation. Generally, N234 is used for high-speed tires, and N115 is mainly used for short-distance tires.

  3. OTR tire tread

  The tread should meet the requirements of puncture resistance, good heat resistance, resistance to chipping and chipping, and good vulcanization flatness. Generally, N110, N121, N115, N234, N220 and other varieties are used.

  4. Sidewall

  The sidewall should meet the requirements of good heat resistance, anti-aging and certain self-adhesiveness, generally choose N375, N330 and other varieties

  5. Belt layer

  Since the belt layer is the main part that bears the stress, it should meet the requirements of high strength, high rigidity and good adhesion with the steel wire. Generally, N375 is the main component.

  6. Steel wire carcass

  The steel wire carcass must meet the requirements of fatigue resistance, high strength and high hardness, and also be well bonded to the steel wire. Generally, N326 is the main one.

  7. Fiber matrix

  The fiber matrix must meet the requirements of heat resistance, fatigue resistance, certain strength, and good adhesion with fibers. Generally, N660, N550 and other varieties are selected.

  8. Buffer layer

  The buffer layer should meet the requirements of high strength, high elongation, low heat generation and good adhesion with the cord. Generally choose N326, N330, N550 and other varieties.

  9. Ply

  The ply should meet the requirements of low heat generation, heat aging resistance and high tensile strength. Generally choose N660, N550 and other varieties.

  10. Lining

  The inner liner should meet the requirements of good air tightness to protect the carcass. Generally choose N660, N774 and other varieties.

  11. Shoulder pad glue

  Shoulder pad rubber should meet the requirements of good cushioning performance, avoiding stress concentration on the shoulder, high strength, high elasticity, and low heat generation. Generally choose N375, N330, N326 and other varieties.

  12. Apex

  The apex should meet the requirements of high hardness, generally choose N375, N330 and other varieties.

  13. Zip glue

  The spigot glue should meet the requirements of high hardness, wear resistance and high viscosity. Generally choose N375, N330 and other varieties.

  14. Bead ring glue

  The traveler lamination must meet the requirements of high hardness, easy extrusion, and not easy to burn. Generally choose N660, N550 and other varieties.
