Transparent white carbon black: Transparent white carbon black refers to a type of white carbon black that can improve or not affect the transparency of the adhesive when added to the adhesive. Transparent white carbon black should meet the following basic requirements: similar or identical refractive index to the raw rubber, high purity, small particle size (less than 1/3 of the visible light wavelength), and narrow particle size distribution.
Alkaline white carbon black: Alkaline white carbon black is a modified white carbon black with a surface alkalinity (pH=6.9~10.5). It has the following characteristics: lower reinforcement and dispersion properties, excellent processability, high dynamic modulus, low stiffness, high elasticity, low compression set, and low heat generation in vulcanized rubber. Due to the introduction of Al2O and Na2O, it is alkaline and has fast vulcanization and good thermal conductivity. It also has excellent dynamic properties and tear resistance, and is particularly suitable as an alkaline reinforcing filler in fluoro rubber and acrylic ester, with better reinforcement and comprehensive performance than other alkaline fillers.
Ultrafine white carbon black: Any solid substance has a fixed shape and occupies a corresponding space, that is, it has a certain size. Generally, powders or fine particles refer to solid substances with a size of less than 1 mm. When the particle size of a solid particle is between 0.1~10μm, it is called a fine particle or a sub-micron particle. Most of the dust floating in the air belongs to this range. When the particle size reaches below 0.1pm, it is called an ultrafine particle. Ultrafine particles are divided into large, medium, and small ultrafine particles.
Nano white carbon black: Nano silica, commonly known as "ultrafine white carbon black", means that the particle size of silica reaches the nanometer level. It is one of the most important high-tech ultrafine inorganic new materials. Its particle size is very small, and its surface area is large. It has strong surface adsorption, high chemical purity, good dispersion performance, and unique properties in terms of thermal resistance, electrical resistance, etc. Nano white carbon black has irreplaceable characteristics in many disciplines and fields due to its superior stability, reinforcement, thickening, and thixotropy.
High-dispersion white carbon black: Precipitated white carbon black can be roughly divided into three categories: "standard" traditional white carbon black (LDS), easy-dispersion white carbon black (EDS), and high-dispersion white carbon black (HDS). High-dispersion white carbon black is a new generation of white carbon black. Compared with typical reinforcing filler carbon black, it can not only improve the wet skid resistance of tires and reduce rolling resistance but also improve wear resistance.
