According to reports on Birla Carbon Company's website, the company's factories in Hickok, USA, and Yeosu, South Korea, have been awarded the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC PLUS) with no non-conformities. This signifies the company's commitment to sustainable development and the circular economy. Previously, the company's Italian factory was awarded the ISCC PLUS certification in May 2023, becoming the first factory to receive this certification, demonstrating the company's determination to provide advanced products.

The company is actively pursuing ISCC PLUS certification for several other factories worldwide. Currently, certification processes are underway for two facilities in Brazil and three facilities in India, Spain, Egypt, and Hungary, with plans for completion within the 2024 fiscal year.
