  The size of the reinforcing effect of carbon black on the specific surface area mainly depends on its specific surface area. Generally, as the specific surface area increases, the various strength indicators of rubber products increase, but the rebound resilience and tear strength decrease, and they are not wear-resistant. It is difficult to disperse during mixing, generates high heat, has high Mooney viscosity, and is easy to scorch. Therefore, different carbon black manufacturers have different formulas and different requirements for specific surface area, and the influence of specific surface area on the physical and mechanical properties of vulcanized rubber is not consistent.

  The oil absorption value reflects the level of structure. A higher oil absorption value indicates a smaller structure, and the tensile strength, tear strength, hardness, and particularly the wear resistance of vulcanized rubber are generally greater, but the elongation is lower.

  The 900°C burning loss reflects the amount of surface hydroxyl groups. Excessive surface hydroxyl groups can cause structuralization of rubber composites, making the material brittle and affecting processing performance. In addition, the vulcanized rubber is prone to chunking, and the surface hydroxyl groups have a strong adsorption effect on the vulcanization accelerator, prolonging the vulcanization time.

  The 105°C heating loss reflects the amount of free water in the particle voids. If the amount is too small, the degree of structuralization of the rubber material will be high and the rubber mixing will become difficult. If the heating loss is zero, the fatigue resistance agent provided by the carbon black manufacturer will be useless. Generally, controlling it to about 6% is more appropriate.

  The pH value is generally around 7. When the pH value increases (acid decreases), the vulcanization speed of the rubber material increases.

  The lower the content of soluble salt, the better, but significantly reducing the content of soluble salt will greatly increase the production cost.
