In the latest assessment results released on May 23, Cabot Corporation (NYSE: CBT) has once again been awarded the Platinum rating by EcoVadis, marking the fourth consecutive year that the company has received this honor. This achievement signifies Cabot's excellent performance in global sustainable development, particularly in the areas of environment, social responsibility, and corporate governance (ESG).
EcoVadis, a globally leading enterprise social responsibility assessment agency, evaluates the sustainable development performance and management systems of over 130,000 companies from more than 180 countries and 220 industries. The evaluation covers four key areas: environment, labor and human rights, business ethics, and sustainable procurement. Cabot Corporation not only ranks in the top 1% of all participating companies globally, but also achieved the highest "outstanding" sustainable development performance score in the environmental category.

In addition to EcoVadis' recognition, Cabot Corporation has also made new breakthroughs in the 2023 Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) ratings. CDP is a nonprofit organization that provides global information disclosure systems for investors, companies, cities, states, and regions to help them manage their environmental impacts. Cabot has achieved excellent results in the three areas of climate change, supplier engagement, and water security, with its climate change and supplier engagement scores improving to "B" and "B-", respectively, while maintaining a "B" in water security.
